Hello dear readers, as per your request we come up with a new article, Friendship series. We’ll explain almost everything about friendship. There is no need to define the term ‘Friendship’. You all are aware of this term but as a post, lets write a few lines.
Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association.
Rather than this, internet is fully filled with this term. There are so many articles, quotations and shayari’s about friendship. Here we are discussing the prime classes of friendship to which we have categories into 6 parts.
Some friendships stay in one stage for a long time, while others seem to go from acuqaitance to BFF in no time. There is no right or wrong way for a friendship to develop. These stages of friendship development aren’t required or necessary. In fact, a friendship can move from very close to more casual as well. It all depends on the people involved.
Most friendships grow over time from one stage to another, until two people become closer and closer. Not every friendship will reach best friend status as each relationship is different. Some relationships may start out as acquaintances and stay there for a long time before they move to the friendship stage. Others may escalate quickly from online friends to besties. It all depends on the people involved, their expectation level, and how much time and effort they are willing to devote to the friendship.
1. FRIEND
You may also start out as good friends with someone, but then drift back to being occasional friends at some point in your relationship. Friendships are fluid and changing, so it’s not unusual to see them go through periods of time where the people involved feel very close to each other, struggle, drift apart, and get back together. No two friendships are the same.
2. GOOD FRIEND
A good friend is someone you would consider part of your inner circle. These are people who know the most about your life and have likely been through a few ups and downs with you. You may have several friends and one or two people you would consider “good friends.” Good friends are generally those you see and talk to the most often.
3. BEST FRIEND
Best friends are people who you are very close to, and who you spend a great deal of time with. They are the first person you call when you’re excited, hurt, or just want to chat. Best friends can often feel like family because they are there for us during the most important moments in our life.
Not everyone has a best friend, which is okay. Some people may have one best friend and no others, which is also fine. It all depends on your personal preference and what makes you happy.
4. ONLINE FRIEND
Online friends, or people that you know solely through the Internet in some way (chat forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) can enhance your life in many ways. Online friends can feel as if they are “always there” because you interact with them through the Internet, where Facebook pages and forums are available round the clock.
Online friends are great, but they cannot replace one-on-one interaction with a real-life friend. However, more and more sites are helping people meet online and then continue their friendship in the real world. If they meet and exchange feelings, then it is worth priced. But few are exception to this, without meet in real, some becames besties forever.
5. MENTOR
A mentor can become a friend at some point, especially when both people are more on the same level. However, a mentor may sometimes never be a real friend. They are nonetheless an important part of our lives.
6. CASUAL FRIEND
A casual friend is someone you know slightly. You might see and interact with the individual on occasion or even on a regular basis, but they are not your actual friend.
Unless the person acknowledges you as a friend (and you spend time together outside of the function or event that brought you together), you are an acquaintance. The distinction to friendship comes when a personal relationship has developed.
You may be an acquaintance of someone for many years without a true friendship developing. Or, it can be the first step in getting to know a future friend. It depends on the two people involved and the circumstances of events that bring them together.
All the above stages may get upgraded to a true friendship if the person has the feelings and knows the real meaning of friendship. Such a friends are called true friend or sometimes best friends. These are the friends whose friendship usually last longer. But sad thing is that, they are hard to find. The traits of such friends have been explained through the images imposed in the post. Soon, we will return with its next part. Completing Friendship series in just one post is not possible.
